Social Responsibility
Orion's first social project for contribution to society is a project with the Tver Foundation called "Skillful Hands". This initiative aims to provide financial support to schools in Tver and Tver region to improve the conditions for students' labour education.
Starting in 2024, we've been holding contests among schools in Tver and Tver region for the best projects to develop labour education in schools and engage children in charitable activities. Based on the competition's results, the winning schools receive donations of necessary equipment, and volunteers from the Tver Foundation give “Lessons of kindness” and hold workshops with professional craftsmen.
Children and teachers team up to create a presentation in which they tell about the equipment they need for their labour classrooms and about the way it will be used in the future. The main goal of the project is not only to provide classrooms with the necessary equipment but also to create facilities and opportunities for children to learn how to help and support those in need. So that the warmth of skillful hands can warm the hearts of others.
One of the six winner projects in 2024 was "A Thread of Kindness and Hope" from Andreapol School №1. The school was provided with sewing machines, an overlock machine and fabric, which students used to sew warm flannel robes for the residents of a nursing home for the elderly and disabled.
